I had a Playboy flyer addressed to me, specifically in my name (not my husband’s.) I can honestly say that i have not “peeked” around the internet on those kinds of websites. How in the world did they get my information?

You probably got on a “mailing list” by giving you address to another business. It might have been another publication, but it doesn’t have to be.
Businesses like publishers often share their mailing list for a price. The names on the list are considered to be more likely to respond to fliers.
If you are on any mailing lists and or took any surveys and did not realize that when you signed your name you allowed them to share your information with others that is how you received that card in the mail. Then again you may have a prankster in your midst and they gave them your name.
