Tyra sucks and she’s is very jealous of many of the Black models on America’s Next Top Model. Sorry I think Tyra is overrated and she can’t model for her life.
I think people make a big deal about Tyra because she’s light skinned and has green eyes that’s all she has. I see girls who look like her all the time. She’s nothing special.

i dont have 1 to be honest. i am the first one to big up beautiful women but none of these models and most others dont excite me. they have model bodies but their faces are usually not outstanding.

Of the people on your list I think Tocarra looks the best, I don’t really have a favorite supermodel though… and I do not think Alek Wek is attractive at all face wise, but I love the color of her skin
girl if Alek Wek was light skinned she would still be ugly,she just doesn’t have a pretty face … her head would definitely look like a light bulb, and well I think tyra would look nice even if she were dark skinned

Alek Wek is absolutley hideous & she has no body. So is that lady I just saw on the brand New old Navy commercial.I would go with Aishwarya Rai or Models from India or Bangledsesh.They have nice hair & desirable features.

Oh man, Naomi Campbell is just awful looking, Iman looks plain jane, Tocarra is pretty, eew Liya looks like a transvestite, Christy is pretty. Gisele is plain jane, Oluchi is ugly. Tyra is very pretty, I do watch ANTM and have never seen jealousy towards any of the contestants. It seems to me that this is a loaded question, you seem to be mad that others do not agree with you and you seem to be biased against Tyra Banks because her skin is lighter than some others. Black does not make you beautiful all by itself, it’s the arrangement of features on any given body that makes one beautiful.

If we were just going by raw beauty I’d say Iman and Tocarra by far.
If we’re going by talent and skill in front of the camera, I’d have to Tyra. She’s so versatile and has really mastered modeling as an art. She’s beautiful but not gorgeous like Iman. She makes up for it in ability and charm.
Alex Wek is gorgeous and fierce on the runway. I hope she gets more exposure. I don’t understand how someone could say she was hideous unless they only consider Eurocentric facial features pretty. Her face is exquisite. Full lips, high cheek bones, wide black nose, big beautiful eyes, radiant dark chocolate skin…she’s the epitome of African beauty. I’m glad she doesn’t have long hair. So many models who aren’t really pretty use big hair to hide their so-so faces. Alek doesn’t need all that to be pretty. Short/no hair keeps her face the focal point in pictures. She’s one model who is is truly beautiful without all the extensions unlike Heidi Klum, Tyra, or Gisele.
For anyone who says this chick sounds bitter toward light skinned woman: If for years you were black and told by tv, magazines, and racists that African beauty isn’t truly beautiful – wouldn’t you sound a little bitter too? Hell, I’m lightskinned and I’m sick of the lie that only thin lips, thin noses, and light skin is cute. I’m glad Alek is representing.
