Do they get payed for going on missions?How does naruto pay for the apartment he lives in?How do they own houses and buy food?I thought being a ninja did not pay.Any answers?

Well, they pretty much have to get paid, since Naruto doesn’t do anything but be a ninja, and he still has his frog purse filled with coins. In his case, he probably get the apartment for free by order fo the Third Hokage if nothing else, but that might be standard practice for any ninja.
Also, we know Ino works in her family’s flower shop. The others might have similar mundane jobs around the village working with the non-ninja members of the village.
Ahhh wow this is odd to tell you they actually do. but the other guy is probaly right Sarutobi would have to order the apartment for free since naruto has no parents but yes a ninja gets paid
in one of the early episodes Kakashi was explaining this to naruto. it was there 1st mish where they had to capture that cat. kakashi said the harder the mission (a rank, b rank, c rank, d rank) the more money we earn. the client pays us for what we do to help and if the mission requires more skilled ninja like jonin the more we get paid. this is what kakashi said. he also said the money we make is used to support the villages finaces and stuff like that. im assuming they each get paid with a portion of the money they make from the mission. and thats a good question with narutos appartment. lol maybe hes sneaking it. i think the hokage was paying for it maybe or maybe there letting him stay there. im not sure he might be getting special treatment cus he has no parents to pay for it. i thought ninjas didnt get paid too but in the hidden villages they need some structure im guessing so they probally split up the money (for themselves and for the village). if u watched the episodes when zabuza was introduced the brige builder said he lied about the mission being easy cus he couldnt afford to pay for a A rank mission. so its obvious he has to pay them. also ino and her family own a flower shop so im guessing alot of them have everyday jobs to help support there family. not everyone in the village is a ninja, i guess the ones that are are just supporting there village. u can also check out this website it has everything on naruto so it might have something on this. http://www.endless-naruto.com/
