I recently saw the film “Six Degrees of Separation” on TV, starring Donald Sutherland, Stockard Channing, and a breakthrough appearance by rap star Will Smith. It was made in 1993. What are your opinions of it?

I thought it was fair at best. Very forgettable movie.
I really liked it. You have to keep in mind that it was an adaptation of a play. (Channing was the only one from the play cast in the movie; she was nominated for an Academy for her performance.) I had to go out and buy it after I saw it on tv. Now it’s one of my favorite movies.
