I am a fan of his ability to box. I am not a fan of the man/character. I feel he deserves to carry the torch only because of his success in sports. Who in sports in the Philippines at the moment has achieved more than him? I only wish he would come to realize due to the media attention he receives it is important he set good examples especially for the young in his daily life. Few could ever be a better boxer than him but it does not take much to be a better man than him. But, the same is true of sports stars in the U.S.A. and around the world. I think the main problem is they obtain fame and wealth too quickly and are not prepared to deal with it.
