Please help!..swollen glands and Hodgkin’s disease!?

My brother is 22 years old and went to the doctor around 2 weeks ago because he was feeling ill. They put him on antibiotics but he still wasn’t getting better. The problem was that they found a lump on his neck, and one in his groin area. Our father had Hogkin’s Disease around 20+ years ago when he was 27 years old. Is the disease hereditary Could my brother had the same cancer? Please help, thanks
What is my brothers chance of having cancer?
If the swollen glands could mean anyting else, what could that be, are they less life threatening?

Doctors need to stop prescribing antibiotics for every little thing and start looking into a cause. Anyway swollen glands is a symptom of hodgkins but also of other things. Infections can cause swollen glands as can allergies. However, it should be looked further into as it very well may have a hereditary component.
