Me and my roommate are arguing over whether their are more good players named Michael (or Mike), or named John in the major sports. So far we have:

Baseball – Schmidt, Mussina
Bball – Jordan, Redd, Finley, Bibby
Hockey – Madono, Vernon, York, Knuble
Boxing – Tyson

John –
Football – Elway, Unitas, Lynch, Randle
Baseball – Bench, Smoltz, Damon
Bball – Stockton, Havlicek
Hockey – Leclair, Vanbiesbrouck
Boxing – ?
