Lead singer of Pearl Jam said that Britney Spears is the worst female singer ever because all she does is lip sync everything and use sex to sell records.
He also said that real true great singers never lip sync.

Every word of that is true. Some people may argue that she has “talent”, all she does is auto-tune her voice to catchy songs written by other people, take off her clothes, and lip sync. It’s just music to dance to, not respectable.
The fact that someone as useless as that is making millions, where people saving lives and working to do good in the world are making 1% of that, is sad.
Rock musicians and especially those who started the 90s rock revolution have ALWAYS been insulting pop stars. This is so not new.
I’m surprised that the lead singer from Pearl Jam bothered to make a comment on Britney Spears.

hes absolutely right but i dont mind seeing that fine ass dancing around and he shouldnt either…also musicians dissing other musicians is so lame just make your music and shut up
There are singers and then there are “singers”. I call singers truly talented vocalists. I call “singers” pop culture candy because “singers” are often pretty damn good at entertaining and often have visual appeal. Some singers are also “singers” in that they are fine vocalists and or musicians because they can sing and do all of the flips and tricks needed to visually entertain. Prince for example is a fine example of this. Back in the day that man could and did do it all. Watching him do a live show was truly entertaining and he never failed to leave you wanting more. Madonna can’t sing so good but she has perfected the art of being a showgirl. Prince is a singer while Madonna is a “singer”.

PS—Britney was never meant to be a singer. She was designed to be a money making pop icon via being a “singer”. In her own way she is entertaining if you know what you are getting when you go to see one of her shows. She’ll never be as good as Madonna but I did go see Britney once when ticket prices were low. I wouldn’t pay good money to go see here but I would see her again on an affordable ticket.
Whether she is the worst female singer ever or not, shes still sold millions. Something some musicians can only dream of.
And I agree. True great singers can sing just as good live as they can in the studio. Britney should stop the lip syncing.
Yes, he’s 100% correct.
He’s a classic rockers from the old school, so it’s natural that faked up singers like Spears will annoy the snot out of him. He’s everything that she isn’t, and he’s pretty much 100% natural, while she’s pretty much 100% artificial.
Spears is an artificial creation, her songs and music are written for her by other people, her dance routines are put together by other people, and her vocals are artificially tweaked and enhanced in the recording studio. She’s 70% lab creation and 30% boobs.
She is also amongst the world’s worst female role models. She uses sex to sell everything. You can’t watch one of her videos for more than 5 seconds without her waiving her butt or chest around, or thrusting her pelvis at somebody. This isn’t an image that I want my kids to think of as normal or acceptable.
I’m a big metal fan. I listen to music that often has violent lyrics and cursing in it, but I’d let my kids get in to that before I’d let them get into Britney Spears because sexualizing kids at a young age is far more dangerous to them and to society. No 14 year old girl ever got raped for dressing like the lead singer of Pearl Jam.
Well, there are many aspects.
Britney Spears may not be the best singer in the world but no one should offend someone who tries, is known and accepted by many people thorough out the world.
Nothing against Pearl Jam- I like a couple songs- they should not attack her. In this way they show that they want fame from other people. For example, my friend doesn’t even know them but if she hears something like this she might be interested and listen some of their songs.
Also, Britney Spears is not a singer. She is a show-woman. Imagine her singing doing all these dancing moves? Wow, wouldn’t worth buying a ticket. Some people like Beyonce can dance and sing simultaneously. Maybe Britney Spears can’t.
I will have to agree with the statement that Great singers never lip sync. I will add that Lip Sync is difficult to achieve and needs practice.
Britney Spears is also a bad role model. But I think these days she is getting better.
And if we take the fact that she uses sex to sell records, then she isn’t the worst singer. I would say Lady Gaga who sings about sex all the time and teenagers go crazy about her! My cousin who is 10 years old enjoys watching the video clip of Papparazzi!
As mentioned above Rock star always thought od pop stars as rivals.

You think about it – if Britney had’ve performed LIVE in the true sense of the word, this ruckus wouldn’t be happening. Instead she shortchanged her fans by putting on a show that could easily have been purchased for the price of a DVD.
