Sea World Orlando, definately. I say that because sea animals are my favorite and they have beautiful shows and presentations. My brother loves it because of the rollercoasters.
I’ve only been to Sea World once, and that was before they had the rides. I really thought it was boring because I just am not into those fish shows. My daughter recently went there on a school field trip and she liked it. I have been to Busch Gardens and I did like that. The ride Sheikra (sp?) is about to re-open. They took the floor out so your feet are now hanging. Check out both websites so you can see what you’re more interested in. As for a hotel, you’re looking at about an hour difference between parks, so you need to decide whether or not you want to stay near the parks or half way between both.
both parks are very nice. Sea World is in Orlando and Brush Garden is in Tampa. they are approximately 2 hours apart by driving. Have fun there
They are completely different parks, so visit both. You can buy a 2 in 1 ticket for both parks online for $85 http://www.seaworld.com/SWF/out_of_state_visitors.aspx and there is a free bus to Busch from Universal Studios Parking lot each morning which takes approx 1-1.5hours to do the 75 mile journey to Tampa.
Seaworld is more show based with killer whales doing tricks, sealions, dolphins etc while Busch is more thrill ride based with brilliant rollercoasters like Montu, Kumba and Sheikra but lots of animals too and some cool shows.
Personally i would stay on International Drive in Orlando close to all the restaurants and bars. Rodeway International http://www.rodewayinnorlando.com/subPages/recreation.htm (where i have stayed and is decent accommodation) and Quality Inn International http://www.orlandoqualityinn.com/ both have free bus shuttles every morning to Universal and Seaworld so you don’t need to worry about staying near the parks.
busch gardens if you like coasters, sea world is cool if you like whales and dolphins.
Depends what you like, they’re both awesome, and offer different things. One day for each should do it. I live near Orlando,so I don’t stay in hotels around here, sorry
