No. If you look at the team, most of those guys aren’t doing very good right now.

The Twins owner is one of the wealthiest owners in baseball it’s a shame he doesn’t spend any of it to help the MLB team he owns…Torii Hunter and Santana could have still been on the team today if he actually cared..

The only good players on that roster is Hunter and Ortiz, what have you been smoking?

I like their team now better than that one. If they still had Johann and Torii they could be doing some serious damage right now.

    No.

No, I’m sure Twin fans would rather have Mauer at C and Morneau at 1B anyways.

I don’t think so. Winning championships is only in part about the players. Luck helps, too. Of course the better the players, the less luck that is necessary. The Twins team doesn’t seem to have that dominant line up.
Besides, if you want to go through history you can see many examples of well stocked teams that only got it done once, like the 1990″s until now Braves.

No, that line up is NOT good (outside of hunter and Ortiz).

For AJ, they got Nathan and Liriano.
Radke would be old now anyway, Milton a one year wonder, Mays not even that.

87 or 89 Twins would have been better suited to more titles.

Hell no. That team right now would be an unmitigated disgrace.

Other than Ortiz and Hunter (maybe Pierzynski, maybe Calderon) these guys blow now.

LaTroy Hawkins might actually be the single worst player in the entire major leagues right now.

    yes

No I like the team now…Casilla and Buscher are huge potential players…also I like it becuase you give the roster to any baseball fan now and they’ll say “I don’t who the hell these guys are”….and well the team is playing awesome now…I just like the feeling when some good players you like were under the radar when they started and now…Sports fans and analyst talk about them alot becuase Casilla and Buscher and the pitching has improved was what has pushed them now
