Question by magickal_orange: Cool things to do in Minneapolis St. Paul MN?
I’m good with restaurants (thanks to some links in some other questions). I’m probably more interested in the out-of-the-way things to do. Local music scene. Unusual shops. No “Mall of America” or “Biggest Ball of Twine” please.

As far as music, I'm not sure.
My favorite venue for concerts/whatnot was The Quest Club, but I heard they shut that down

Depends on what you like to do. Since there is finally nice weather, you could take a nice stroll through the Sculpture Garden at the Walker, or check out the Stone Arch Bridge. I also like Minnehaha Falls this time of year…and of course you could start out a weekend by visiting the Farmer’s Market.
the MIA or the Walker Museums are way cool. there’s always great music going on… the quest club, first avenue, the fine line. LOTS of cool municipal parks, minnehaha falls. check out City Pages. free mag you can find anywhere.
I don’t know, I was born there but I haven’t been there since I was about 3-4.
I haven’t seen Bob for a while either!
